TM3 is a company that specializes in 3D printing of jigs, fixtures, tooling, and prototypes. We wanted to position them as a cool, up and coming company, with technology and expertise. we created a sleek design based on the geometry of a hexagon, which also naturally tricks the human eye to look 3D.

The hexagon is a strong supportive shape in 3D printing. The hexagon also allowed us to play with 3D in a 2D space in a simple and elegant way. We used the accent colour of a bright green to keep in the mindshare of technology and growth, and it makes the logo appear as if it is glowing.

In short, we aimed to make something that represented strength, quality, and flexibility.
